Fish last Friday Saturday and left SCI island Sunday and fish the desperation reef area. Started Chunking dead sardines for 10 to 15 minutes and they started getting stupid. Had yellow fin eating in the chum line. My wife and I had nine fish in four hours and probably farmed 15 to 20 fish. The yellow fin were all 35 to 50 pounds. It was an incredible bite and lots of fun. I called in a few times over channel 72 To see if anybody wanted to jump on the bite. On Sunday morning I gave the numbers out. Sounded like a few other boats headed over there to whackem.. Fish Saturday with FV “Top shot” and we both did well. Desperation reef area. 30 lbs floro was the biggest you could go!!

    Paddywagon out!!

I am not sure if we talked to you Sunday, we were 12 miles east of desperation heading to the Butterfly. Gave it some thought, but decided to stay the course and then work our way back if nothing happened at the Butterfly. We ran further south than we liked, but hit pay dirt anyhow. Desperation would of been much closer to home, had we headed there.

Morris and I have chased radio fish before. Should of identified ourselves I guess? Anyhow big time congrats on your catch!

Was trolling the Slide to 277 on Sunday when you called out the numbers. Felt a little too late to make the extra 40 mile run. Couple boats close to me did make the trip and we heard one of them heading home around 2PM with 12 fish on the boat. In retrospect, I should have made the run.

All good. I’m the type of guy that will call people in. We spend a ton of money on fuel, insurance, upkeep and everything else so I always share the wealth. Karma!!

Yeah the warship was near. I was watching the tuna go through the chunk line and the cannons didn’t affect the fish. I always wondered... I always have one of my radios on 16 just in case I missed something. They never hailed us..... Bonus!!

Thank you for that paddywagon heard you on the radio. I never radio fish but I’m glad I did on this day we were fishing the slide when we heard you on the radio. We made it to that zone found the dolphin doing the right thing jumping out of the water slapping tales on the water. Threw out some bait instant boils around the boat we were all fishing 30#pound-string Followed bye Instant hookups We knew instantly these were big fish lost 2 we all switch to the heavy string 45 min later And all three of us were done fish-holds couldn’t hold any more mixed BF YF anywhere from 30 to 50 pound.
Called in Parker off in the distance Dumped the rest of our bait till he got there Fish exploding everywhere around the boat amazing day thank you once again.
